Hilti Art Foundation
The Hilti Art Foundation’s monographic exhibition of Paco Knöller (*1950 in Obermarchtal, Germany) comprises 25 works created exclusively in coloured oil pastels on paper and wood from the 1980s to the present. Max Beckmann, Still Life with Palettes, 1944, Hilti Art Foundation
The Hilti Art Foundation once again presents a selection of art exclusively from its own collection. The Whole Palette showcases well-known works of great beauty by such artists as Pablo Picasso, Max Beckmann, Ferdinand Hodler, Piet Mondrian and Verena Loewensberg, as well as superb new acquisitions by Edvard Munch, Max Ernst, Sophie Taeuber-Arp and Callum Innes. The exhibit also presents new works of sculpture, collage, photography and prints by artists such as Jean Tinguely, Henri Matisse, Thomas Struth and Carol Wyss. A surprising variety of genres and styles as well as motifs, materials and colours will be on view. The exhibition also offers an insight into the current status of the collection.
Insights into the museum
Since May 2015, the Hilti Art Foundation has presented its internationally renowned art collection in its own exhibition building in downtown Vaduz. As an extension and complement to the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, the facility hosts temporary exhibitions showcasing important paintings, sculptures, objects and photographs from the late nineteenth century to the present. The Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kunstmuseum are pleased to offer visitors another cultural institution of exceptional quality and attractiveness.
